PR LEADS Expert Resource Network was founded in 2001 to help authors, experts and speakers get the publicity they deserved at a price they could afford. Through word-of-mouth marketing, PR LEADS has grown from startup to 200-plus clients in less than one year. More than 80 percent of new clients are referred by current clients.
PR LEADS offers PR services through its affiliation with ProfNet, a division of PR Newswire, one of the most respected vendors in the PR and journalism communities. Dan Janal is Founder and President of PR LEADS Expert Resource Network. He is responsible for growing the company from startup to more than 200 satisfied clients in less than one year. He is responsible for skyrocketing sales and marketing, creating clever new products and services, establishing mutually beneficial industry alliances and delivering outstanding customer service and training.
A well-known author and speaker on the topics of PR, marketing and Internet Marketing, he wrote "Dan Janal's Guide to Marketing on the Internet," which was one of the first books on this topic published in 1995 in the infancy of the Internet, and updated for the new century. His publisher, John Wiley & Sons, has sold the translation rights to publishers in seven languages including German, Spanish, Portuguese, Hungarian, Chinese, Korean and Japanese. His other books include:

- "Business Speak," one of the first and only books about voice recognition technology and the business applications

Dan has spoken around the world, from Beijing to Budapest, from Mexico City to Rio de Janeiro, and all across the U.S. and Canada.
Dan is a former business editor of a daily newspaper, the Journal News, just outside New York City. He has won numerous reporting awards, including a prestigious Hearst Award, the Pulitzer Prize of college students while at Northwestern University, where he earned bachelors and masters degrees from the famed Medill School of Journalism. USA TODAY called Dan "a true Internet pioneer" because he has more than 20 years of PR experience. He was on the PR team that launched America Online. He also handled PR assignments for IBM, Reader's Digest, American Express, AT&T and more than 100 other high-tech companies, including many startups. He was responsible for the PR that introduced the CD ROM industry, as he served as PR counsel to Grolier and their Electronic Encyclopedia, the first piece of consumer software for CD-ROMS.
The San Francisco Chronicle called Dan "an Email marketing expert." The LA Times called Dan "an Internet marketing expert."
